21/21 A last rare gig - #KateBush in 2014. Such a special experience! Included the Ninth Wave fliers ("Wave after wave, each mightier than the last'/ Till last, a ninth one, gthering half the deep/ And full of voices, slowly rose and plunged/ Roaring, and all the wave was in a flame")!

20/n @ba1965.bsky.social is a massive #Prince fan and we saw him in '07. Best bit for me was getting into the aftershow gig which was a three-hour rock guitar set with just a few hundred people in the room!

19/n I've seen #PJHarvey some 15 times, but one gig was a small solo set after an interview as part of The New Yorker Festival in '06.... Yup, a trip to New York was organised around the gig!

15/n In '95 I saw #TheCramps in Brixton, with my mate Pete on his first gig after over a year in hospital after a handgliding accident broke his neck. I have vivid memories of a wheelchair accessible policy consisting of burly bouncers lifting him up the stairs...

12/n Another #PinkFloyd gig from '88 - how to make stadium tours feel like small local venues!

11/n Saw U2 on The Joshua Tree tour... the stadium expereince didn't work for me that time

10/n I saw #RogerWaters on his first solo tour after leaving #PinkFloyd. His tour and the Floyd's one were on at the same time globally, criss-crossing with legal shenanegins in tow... This gig had #EricClapton on guitar, and I'm sure Boris Becker was sat in the row behind me...

9/n I hitchhiked from Hull to Edinburgh to see #DavidBowie on the Serious Moonlight tour. Amazing to see how a performer can hold a stadium crowd
