Do you catch the central line much at the moment? That's a bad one, but it's recognisable from my commute. Definitely a 1970s NY subway vibe to it.

Is this incorrect then?

It's completely ridiculous. Pre-budget everyone thought the headroom gap was £20-30bn including policy changes (e.g. on welfare). It was in fact £16bn.

It's hardly a massive difference.
I’m quite enjoying the 180 turn on a six pence from “you’ve wrecked the economy and created a black hole” to “there was no black hole and this is even worse”.

Followed, I'm pretty active on it.

Oh I thought we were talking about Jeremy Corbyn, apologies.

Corby's experience isn't very useful as he hasn't learnt anything or changed his view on anything since the 70s.

Carol is showing at Regent Street Cinema for one.

Same shit, slicker grift.

Not really missing the point if that's not mentioned in the thing you're replying to is it. More of a different conversation.

I've not even looked yet. I just saw it in my timeline and knew what I needed to do.

Excellent life choice!

Yeah, that'll get high quality MPs to stay or become MPs and save a huge amount of money in the grand scheme of things. Cracking suggestion.

I'm not sure John that keeping on giving wealthy boomers WFA is a regressive Tory thing.

I take the point around 12k though.

Garden Cinema is very cool. (I imagine you've been.)

I saw comments along those lines below the line on the Guardian today, so I can well believe it.

Ending the two child limit doesn't poll well. But who cares, sometimes the right thing to do is just the right thing to do.

That would be taxing earned income even more when one issue we have is that we don't tax unearned income enough.

You'd also be favouring older people with that method. Apparently 8 people lived in my place when it was a rental, now it's just me. The council tax remains nearly the same.

I've heard "add more bands" mentioned as a smart thing to do in the past, but it's not been mentioned in this years convos around this. It's an all round mess.
