I think that’s the right approach. Forcing a vote makes it clear that such actions should be debated openly and democratically, not suggested recklessly.
Kaine: "I can tell you this -- we will force a vote in the Senate about no US military action in Greenland or Denmark if we need to. We will get overwhelmingly bipartisan support that this president is foolish to even suggest this."

We have cleaned up the crime scene and blocked a local investigation and hidden the perpetrator and invaded the state and that is how you know that we are acting in good faith and that everything was the victim’s fault.
