One of my ‘favorite’ things about working at the airport is people who get mad at our food service comrades or pay no attention to anyone else trying to walk down the concourse.
Maybe don’t walk four abreast with all your luggage at funeral dirge speed.

One of our grocery store chains has armed guards who stand around and pester people for their receipts. It’s pathetic. Today one of them was wearing a halo. Another asked- where are your wings? The halo dude said- I’m the angel of death, the angel of death doesn’t have wings, only guns.

Had a squeak in the dryer so I thought it would be a simple matter to pop it open and oil the rollers, an hour tops. Yeah… 6 hours later and I had to stop because I couldn’t find a new belt- will finish Thursday. Although instead of just cleaning the lint ducts, I did rebuild them, so.

I’m not on *Truth* to confirm this is real, but I also don’t care. If it is, it’s totally hilarious, especially since it’s something my 16 year old would make, and she HATES Trump.

I think I’ve run out of the hot days I need to work on surfboards, so I’m closing up the #PNervesSurfboards shack. I did get a board glassed- no hot coat. It’s not the board I envisioned, but I’m pretty happy. I did miss a step on the fin system. Oops.

My job allows us to give up half our shifts a month, but you can trade as many as you like. I needed some days off for a vacation, and ended up trading two days for two shifts- on the same day. I usually work 5 hours a day, but on the 21st I’ll be working two 8 hour shifts. Oops…

Driving home from dinner, and I saw a cool camper van. My wife and daughter said I was nerding out, and then tried to cover by saying- it’s cool, everyone nerds out. Yeah, but I was the only true nerd in the car… they hemmed and hawed, but then Revenge of the Nerds by Rubinoos came on.
