Seal of the United Federation of Planets by Dave Archer, STAR TREK GENERATIONS (1994)
Seal of the United Federation of Planets as it appeared as a backlit graphic located in drydock gallery at the start of STAR TREK GENERATIONS. The seal went on to appear on the August/September 1996 cover of STAR TREK COMMUNICATOR magazine which also included a fold out poster. It was one of many contributions by artist Dave Archer whose space vista paintings were used as set decoration in the crew quarters and observation lounge of the Enterprise-D in STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION's earlier seasons as well as in the dining room of the Enterprise-A in STAR TREK VI: THE UNDISCOVERED COUNTRY. Archer also contributed the backlit painting of the Nexus that was featured in Guinan's quarters in STAR TREK GENERATIONS, which found its way to Guinan's Earthbound 10 Forward bar decades later in STAR TREK: PICARD.

an alternate version of the UFP seal created for Star Trek Generations featuring stock photos of the future AGT Enterprise-D, Enterprise-A, classic Enterprise, DS9, the Defiant, and Voyager all wooshing out of the symbol.

Lower quality image of the seal of the United Federation of Planets created by artist Dave Archer for Star Trek Generations it was used briefly by the franchise in licensed printing, but I don't think it ever showed up on screen outside of the first couple of shots of interior drydock in Generations

I mostly disagree with this assessment. the photography makes him look a little uncanny, but the makeup (yeah even the overworked Klingons) and costuming is top notch imo

funnily, Generations on Blu-ray suffered from similar issues (an overall green hue) but they fixed it for 4K. for FC they added a distracting blue tone. so it's like they fixed one movie and ruined another 🤷‍♂️
