Really enjoyed this! My favorite way to learn a new set is to roto draft it (1 copy of each card) after spoilers but before release. I’m on a discord that usually fires 3-4 pods of 8 each set (and has been doing more custom cube rotos too recently).

My guess (not my view): Murphy>Mattingly>Valenzuela (but all 3 very close) >> Bonds > Clemens >> Sheffield > Kent > Delgado. I’m guessing we get 1, maybe 2 of the first 3 in, and the bottom 2 or 3 (probably 3) don’t reach 5 votes.

As someone who also quite enjoyed Legends and Lattes, I’d recommend Orconomics by Zachary Pike. Not quite cozy, but quite funny, heartfelt, and also spinning the genre in interesting ways

I’ve had 3 of the newsletters I read leave Substack, and the process has been seamless from my end (and I appreciate that they did so). Linking this offer in case it’s helpful: bsky.app/profile/crai...
Writers: I am imploring you to move off of Substack. I know it seems daunting, but I did it and it's really not hard. You can be moved, subscribers, content, and all, in the space of a weekend. If you're worried about it hit me up and I can walk you through the process.

The Substack app apparently push alert promoted a Nazi newsletter to several users. Users have complained about it on Substack Notes but the company hasn’t responded. Generally push alert promos are for content a user is likely to interact with

Was fortunate enough to coach and advise him in high school - just a fantastic kid. Really hoping the BC coach hasn’t pitched him into surgery.

Don’t think I can count how many times I’ve read Arcadia and The Invention of Love. Both absolutely brilliant and with such depth of feeling.
