Somewhat related, has someeee thematic overlap with Cat’s Cradle. Parable of the Sower (and frankly, Slaughterhouse Five and even Galapagos) way outsold it. Cat’s Cradle, lowkey, kinda weird (derogatory), but maybe would’ve hit different if I wasn’t literally in the middle of Sower.

Like 3/4 way through this book, my hold with the library lapsed. I read I’m Glad My Mom Died and Cat’s Cradle while I waited. I watched Joelie Folie unzip his pant leg to reveal the full Earthseed quote. I started a free trial to regain access to this book today so I could finish it. I’m glad I did.

Well, yeah, we're suing ICE.

This wasn't really a hard decision. As little faith as we have in institutions, we recognize the value of drawing visible lines in the sand. We drew ours personally a while ago, but better late than never.

May every protester be freed and may this occupation end.
