I also think officially engaging bad faith actors over eligibility in a statement like this means the “protect women’s sports” crowd have successfully controlled the conversation. Everyone’s dancing around the underlying problem, except for Sarah Gorden.

there's also local reporting from last month that paints the picture on the club's finances - they've added some minority investors but majority owner Steve Malik is still looking for a “larger capital partner"
