Had to look up ventile (means 1/20th) but unsurprisingly practically all inheritance tax in the UK is paid by the richest 5% and most people don't pay it at all. It's obvious but worth pointing out. Inheritance tax is the best and fairest of all taxes.
If the govt go ahead and do this when there are so many real problems that need money spent on them it will be unforgiveable (and I say that as someone who would be a beneficiary).
