Feingold was the only Senator who read the entire bill- actually maybe the only one in both houses to read it through. The others just had their underlings look it over. He was a good, fair and independent individual. Unbelievable that Johnson was voted in.
The Patriot Act was a huge mistake. Many people recognized this , but Russ Feingold was the only senator brave enough to vote against the bill—which Putin-loving Ron Johnson used to defeat Feingold in 2010.
