I'm not saying this to defend her or the CEO. I think what they did was incredibly shitty. Especially the CEO because of the power imbalance. I'm saying this more for all of us because I think this is setting up a very dangerous precedent where any of us can be affected by something like this.

I think there's something really messed up in taking the lowest moment in a random person's life and posting that on the internet for tens if not hundreds of millions of people to see to the point where it makes it impossible to find work or scare potential friends from affiliating with you.

On the one hand, it was wrong for her to cheat. I think that's a really shitty thing to do and they should be criticized for it. But on the other, the thing that worries me about the Coldplay concert incident is how we as a society feel entitled to make people's private lives public.
