Enough with "I'm running on COMMON SENSE values." I want absurd values. Clowns on every train. Possum cops. The government pays in live goats. Worms in every gas tank. A war on clouds. It can't go any wronger than what we've already got going on, here.

I "fixed" it by zooming all the way in but also, importantly: this sucks. THIS IS NOT AN APP

"I dated a folk singer" is probably one of the least surprising things you've all learned about me on b sky dot app

When I was a kid my mom had this technique where she would slap us in the back of the head so fast it was like one of those martial arts movies where you just hear the sword and the samurai is putting it back in his sheath when the guy falls. Already gone by the time we're rubbing our head.

It's Pearl River Flow Lore Time.
I dated a folk singer. She lived in the painted apartments on Fortification Street, the pictured location known to my Jackson followers. We were better friends than lovers and had more adventures than romance, as may be imagined.
boring zillow photo, a bit washed out, of an apartment building with huge murals all over the front, featuring "tribal" south american themes, aztec birds, and melting psychedelia - and a zebra and some tigers and a six eyed wolf

I'm working on another map related thing and I swear there's gotta be some parts of the Mississippi/Louisiana/Arkansas border where it's legal to commit crimes because you're not in any state. Or maybe double-illegal because you're in two states at once.
borders and rivers in black and white, featuring a big Mississippi river srving as a border, with lots of weird cut-outs for old channels and loops

Wife: I don't want to go. I feel like the rich mothers are judging me.
Me: I'll go. I'm fine. I'm real good with the moms.

Zooming in, I'd make a similar argument on the "Gulf Coast" which certainly has a core, but rapidly gets fuzzier and fuzzier the farther you get from Mobile.
My knowledge of the Adirondacks is like 3 people deep, so this is good to know. I always need to know what Tennessee zones exist out there.

You wouldn't be wrong to do so, boundaries are all imaginary to some degree, but I'd definitely extend it northwest of that spot. Not northeast, though!

I found out there’s a guy at work you can really rile up by saying “no I think you’re wrong, I think baby yoda and old yoda are the same guy”

Many other things aside: they can ONLY look at things from the view of the bosses. If they didn't have to pay each worker so much, obviously they could pay more workers.
(this is not true of the labor market, the secret market that "free market" propagandists always forget about)

So this is funny.
The administration just issued a rule slashing foreign agricultural worker wages. And to justify it, in a public filing, Trump's Labor Department alleges that Trump's immigration enforcement has devastated the Ag workforce and caused a "risk of supply shock-induced food shortages."
Trump Labor Department Says His Immigration Raids Are Causing a Food Crisis
In a filing in the Federal Register, the Labor Department argues there are “immediate dangers to the American food supply” due to a lack of migrant agricultural workers.

when I was looking at Baton Rouge I was thinking about how much bleed over there is from each culture and how there's islands and inlets and peninsulas all through this thing.

Yes. Though it's usually just called "the delta" if you're in it.

hell, it may even be at a 4th crossroads - Mississippi delta. That would also track.

One must not confuse the map with the territory. I see a lot of little things I'd change, but I think that's the point of the thing.

on this one you can see that Baton Rouge is at the tri-point of Acadiana, Piney Woods, and Gulf Coast culture, which tracks

This is the most accurate depiction of the Midwest to date. Wichita has always felt like the last Midwest city while also being the first plains city.
