I'll often tell people, if you're afraid of spiders try getting a nice picture of one. Most of them run and hide. The exception is jumping spiders. These wee fuzzballs are curious like miniature cats and some will jump on the camera. Check out this Emerald Jumping Spider selfie.

Dear everyone new. I get overwhelmed easily so I apologize for not following a lot of people even though I find you interesting and I'd like to. I'm not trying to be rude when I don't always reply or interact. And sometimes I disappear for a while to go touch moss.

Have a lion's mane jelly.

Welcome to Bluesky, folks. Enjoy a review of Spirited Away that was published in the Daily Utah Chronicle on October 17, 2002.

Also, enjoy this reminder that the film is officially old enough to drink and rent a car.

You know about climate envelope, right. And outside the envelope. This shows UK climate envelope, and that excellent visualisation shows _clearly_ that last years ( or decades) are pretty much outside the envelope..
We use 30 year averages to show climatology (average weather conditions). During the 20th century the UK climatology followed a path around a confined box. With #globalwarming and #climatechange they have escaped out the box. This #dataviz shows UK rainfall and temperature.
