Breaking News: A midwife and an associate were charged with illegally performing abortions in Texas, in an apparent first since the overturning of Roe v. Wade.

Texas Midwife Charged in Abortion Case

The two arrests in greater Houston appear to be the first time abortion providers have been charged with violating abortion bans in their state since Roe v. Wade was overturned in 2022.

If you just ignore existing state and federal laws, the cost of nuclear waste, water use, decommissioning costs, rising construction costs, building a new industry from scratch, the falling cost of renewables and the fact that Dutton’s figures are blatantly cooked, his plan is actually reasonable.
