Thinking of instituting a self-imposed rule of not looking at my phone for anything but texting/calls after I get home. Have been obsessively keeping up with current events and very often find that it is very quickly 9 pm before I get anything done.

Just finished our annual grave restoration roadtrip (which we call the Grateful Dead Tour), which was our most ambitious one yet. We ended up restoring almost exactly 500 graves. This was the 500th grave, my 1st cousin twice removed and her husband

Just saw andor discourse on Twitter and someone claimed that the show is libertarian and when told that the main libertarian rep (arvel skeen) in the show gets off'ed, he said skeen wasn't libertarian, just "an opportunist and a greedy bastard" and, well if it quacks like a duck...

Ending of andor was very good mostly but andor suiting up into his movie outfit and walking to his ship with swelling music at the end felt way too member berry for me despite the fact that it is by far the most earned version of that scene in a long time in star wars

Running into a project creep issue with my next blog post. Started the post talking about a cemetery, then expanded to reading the 200 page book from the town's centennial which then expanded to talking about Black Sea germans which then expanded to the russo-turkic wars.
