Had the most amazing incredible fantastic life-affirming glorious adventure in Utah with my beastie, Brinker. Literally already trying to make plans to go back. Visited the Big 5 National Parks. I've never seen anything like these places.
A ding dang squirrel chewed through my Thrive Market box, pulled out the one Lily's chocolate bar inside, and ate all of it before I got home from work! 😭☠️ I blame the neighbors who had an outdoor Easter egg hunt for creating a furry chocolate addict in the neighborhood. Still finding chewed shells

Americans are trained to be idealists.

The problem is that idealists can quickly become pessimists at the first sign of failure.

Reform is a reckoning that takes hard work & a willingness to confront ugly truths.

If we let go of our idealism & choose practical realism, we can do that hard work.

This feels like the captain of a 747 taking an intentional nose dive to crash the plane & kill all of the passengers.

At the last second, the captain pulls up & saves the plane.

Then gets on the loudspeaker & says, "Sign up for 200 more flights with me!"

& SOME motherfuckers ACTUALLY signed up. 😵‍💫

The House passed legislation to prohibit federal district judges from issuing nationwide injunctions, marking a significant step in an escalating Republican campaign targeting judges who have blocked some of Trump’s executive orders.

How could any of us have known a recession was going to hit us by the middle of 2025?

I wonder... did anybody see this coming? 🤔

I often talk about righteous fights. Make no mistake: we are in one.

This fight will be long. Trump will continue to distract, divide, and demoralize us.

But when things get tough, there is only one option ahead of us: Nevertheless, we must persist.
