Hello! I'm Markus AKA Personable, I like thinking (and talking) about tabletop RPGs almost as much as I like playing them. Occasionally I also make them.

I also maintain the RPG blogposts feed, let me know if you want your blog included.

I don't like him personally, but David Simon on AI is the final word on the subject.

If you liked part one and two, you will probably have been seriously anticipating this one, and it absolutely delivers.

If you didn't read part one and two, go and do that, then come back and realise that I'm right.

I love award shows. It's no secret. It's why I've spent months writing, refining, and trying to distill my Ennies judging experience.

It's a 4-part series (I know, I know). One article a day. Today's lays out my goals and puts the focus on awards in general.

I *am* curious if the recent EU push to be more independent of Big American Tech will lead to improvements in office software at least.

Yeah, I'm fortunate that my workplace is usually happy enough with a copy/pasted crappy freehand mouse-drawn signature on digital forms, rather than requiring a proper digital signature...

Unfortunately, it also has a terminal case of Bad FOSS UX/UI. Same reason I don't like LibreOffice - it just *feels* bad and clunky to use.

Yeah, I'm with you on this one. It used to be for gaming as well, but in recent years, that's gotten good enough on Linux that the main thing keeping Windows on my personal PC is the Affinity Suite.

Some of my games are in this! While they are normally free, now you can pick them up *and* donate to charity, and isn't that better?

I put up a goal on my ko-fi because I want to help my parents pay for my matriculation fees.

My mom lost her full-time job so my dad has taken on most of our expenses.

Any amount will help immensely! If you can't give anything, even sharing this around will help, too.

Hi bluesky, idk how to get people to see this, but I'm a game designer, writer, poet, and graphic designer who makes books! You should follow me and help me achieve the impossible: getting ihop to stack my pancakes 8 high instead of the default 4.

Anyways, here's some recent work <3

Lilancholy is back in a new paperback printing! I'll be running a small, short backerkit campaign in TWO SATURDAYS to raise the funds for it. It features new layout from me, removing the old layout artist completely, a new forward by me, and it won't have my deadname on it anymore :3

The colours won't be as funky (read: off) as on my copy, but I can certainly recommend picking up the zine!

Barkeep on the Borderlands is in its 2nd printing! It is now perfect bound with a spine and has much more consistent colors in the interior.

To celebrate, the next ~50 orders of Barkeep or the Barkeep Bundle will also come with a random autographed “print proof” page

Copies of the new print run on the left, the proof pages of the book (a cutaway map of a pub pictured) below and a few holographic stickers on top

In terms of current Kickstarters, I like the way DOOMSPIRAL by Soulmuppet does it, while I am frustrated by the Fabula Ultima page.

I’m doing a new thing in Carouse where I write tiny 3 to 4 sentence rpg reviews like the movie ones you might find in the newspaper.

This month was Ave Nox and Isle of Hex.
