I don't use my Twitter account any more, but I had to log in to check something.

The 'all notifications' column is 90% far-right tweets. Any basic algorithm analysing at my posting/following history would realise that's anathema to my views.

6 Tommy Robinson tweets in the top 30 served up to me...

Chart shows majority of public did not want Trump to remain a major political figure in January 2021 A survey by Pew Research Center, conducted Jan. 8-12 among 5,360 U.S. adults, including 4,040 who say they voted in the presidential election, found that a sizable majority of Americans did not want Trump to remain a major political figure after he leaves office. About two-thirds (68%) said Trump should not continue to be a major national political figure for many years to come; just 29% say he should remain a major figure in U.S. politics. For many, the shocking events of Jan. 6 – when some Trump supporters heeded the president’s call to march to the Capitol to protest Congress’ acceptance of Biden’s victory and then went on a violent rampage throughout the building – have seriously marred Trump’s final days as president. Three-quarters of the public said the president bears at least some responsibility for the violence and destruction committed by some of his supporters, with 52% s

Fascinating analysis by the FT on how US companies are talking about AI. They're emphasising the risks more than a couple of years ago.

It’s insane that platforms don’t tell us the most popular 10, 100, 1000 posts on TikTok or YouTube or Instagram each day. Lawmakers should make them publish what they are, in real time, so we can track misinfo and propaganda.

In other words: bring back crowdtangle!
