Authors going on socials to say thanks for their PLR statement are a reminder that - despite what the likes of Zuckerberg say - people’s work is worth something, and that if you pay micropayments to creators, it makes a huge difference to their viability. Because lots of us don’t earn all that much.

1/3 I am in Kenya and tried out M-Pesa for the first time. The big deal about M-Pesa is inclusion. We were in a restaurant and in the alley alongside a street food vendor had a stall. That one person business was cashless and, I presume, unbanked.

2/3 My experience has been flawless. Not only do I have a record of every transaction, I also have mobile numbers of those I dealt with P2P (M-Pesa is based on airtime credit). The solution is also available in Tanzania, South Africa, Ghana, and Egypt.
