The endorsement strategy hasn't changed, but (for better or worse) DSA members are feeling very confident after Mamdani's victory.

There are certainly people in DSA who think they don't have the capacity to run a race against Espaillat, so we'll have to see what the citywide vote is.

Fun fact #7 most States receive federal funding to run Joint Task Forces and "intelligence fusion centers" with state & federal & local law enforcement together, but state and local agencies are under no obligation to continue these arrangements

Bottom line is there's all KINDS of things your state and local officials and city attorneys could do to protect your community from ICE's ethnic cleansing campaign, *if* they really wanted to get creative.

Rather than immediately repeat whatever the NYPD said about the incident, try to get more facts and context and then decide whether to say something?
