It's sad that I have a fridge drawer of veggies that embodies this sentiment so much. I really need to keep them at eye level and in full view if I want to actually eat them.
Me: Today I learned the phrase “unfuckable salad!”

You: “Jon, what the fuck is an unfuckable salad?”

…😑

*sigh*

Well, of course you’d ask that question if you’re one of those types who have never had to toss a salad out after a massive clean up.

Astonishing stuff - this is the Shrouded College library, and their poor, tragic librarian.
Sneek peek at a spread from The Cold Witch issue 1 -
Last week to order a copy by calling your local comic book store.
One of the best things @charlessoule.bsky.social said to me when we started working on the Shrouded College : "Let's make things that people have never seen before"

I legitimately couldn't have said this better!
This isn’t controversial or even uncommon but it is my very well thought out & duly considered opinion that J.K. Rowling and anyone who is a fan of her or her derivative works should step on several rusted metal tacks & shit themselves in public and honestly, I don’t think thats too much of an ask.

I truly feel not enough effort is put into changing the constitution on the Left.

Like the right with all their money loves to rat duck the judiciary.

But the fact that the left—with all its smaller donor, individual buy in bullshit—hasn’t sought to change the source code from a ground level…

Musk's grandpa thought that democracy didn't work because the masses were ignorant and brainwashed by Jewish globalists. Instead, he thought engineers should govern dictatorially

There are eerie echos of these sentiments in Musk's recent words and deeds www.vox.com/politics/400...
Elon Musk’s worldview is eerily similar to his authoritarian grandad’s
Joseph Haldeman wanted a dictatorship of engineers. DOGE would have made him proud.

Roberta Flack was one of the 20th century's greatest artists. So much more than the songs that crossed over and became universal, though those songs alone earned her immortality. RIP to a woman who changed the sonic landscape. Here is my long essay on her genius www.npr.org/2020/02/10/8...
Remembering Roberta Flack: The Virtuoso
Roberta Flack is only solo artist to win two consecutive Record of the Year Grammys and she helped usher in an enduring style of R&B. Could she be pop music's most under-appreciated influence?

All 20 books I posted in the 20 books in 20 days challenge. At no point did I know where this was going and I could have probably posted 30 more, but this feels like a pretty accurate depiction of what/how I read (chaos. It’s chaos.) #booksky 💙📚

Latest read: Black Girls Must Die Exhausted by Jayne Allen

Loved the book. Ended up not being able to put it down by the end. Good character development and artfully done education and social commentary that really allows the reader to empathize with the characters.

Reading this Arc about a girl who became the 1st Black female PHD in geology, a girl who became a teacher of teachers, and a girl who worked at the Smithsonian as an expert in grasses.

It’s surreal to read this as women in STEM are removed from government websites. We need these stories!
