This is what happened to the telcos. They became utilities. I like the description of "Shut up and grind" as in it articulates a cultural work shift well. A deeply flawed regression of attitude but hey welcome to 2025 and the loss of sanity.

This is what happened to the telcos. They became utilities. I like the description of "Shut up and grind" as in it articulates a cultural work shift well. A deeply flawed regression of attitude but hey welcome to 2025 and the loss of sanity.

This year @pfflumpton.bsky.social and I set up a community interest company to plant wildflowers in our village and become a bee-friendly village. Tonight we worked in the cold with young volunteers to pot up seedlings to plant out in the spring. The bees need all the help they can get! #ecology 🌍
A bumblebee can only fly for about 40 mins between feeding. But we've lost 97% of our wiłdflower meadows. So each nectar-rich flower you plant in a windowbox or in your garden or community green spaces could be the pit stop that saves a bee 🐝

While I am absolutely loving this, am also mentally preparing myself to include Bluesky on a Go to market SAAS launch media plan at some point in the future - without screaming at in the faces of founders "don't ruin my happy place you bastards" 😭
