And seals has more vocalization in their tone. They are usually more quiet than sea lions.

They sound completely different. Sea lions do this stereotypical „Arff Aff“ sounds or do other barking sounds.

A sea lion can walk on land bc they can rotate their front and back flippers (they have also bigger flippers than seals)

The easiest way to if it’s a seal or sea lion are the ears. Seals has no visible ear flaps while sea lion those.

I know for the average person who isn‘t into pinnipeds it doesn‘t make any difference if your insta name is „seallover420“ i expect not to mix any sea lion clips into „seal core“ videos
