I'd like to know what law they think allows them to detain witnesses in the first place? And confiscate phones? I wonder how hard it will be for local police to get the evidence back. Glad police aren't giving up yet.

It takes a while before people start to see things like this, but Americans ARE seeing it. The longer this goes on, the more people will hate it.

I don't think the point is to exonerate the officer here, just to distort/normalize. If a judge rules against the officer, they just say the judiciary is corrupt again. They think it's a win/win.

Personally, I think it will alienate more people. We have a history of Americans hating this crap.
