He said a stupid thing
If he had gone to a town which only had white faces he wouldn't have said it was a failure to integrate

Besides the fact everytime I've been to Handsworth I've seen white faces

What he said was nothing to do with integration and everything to do with stirring up racism

Yes but at least you know you’re down the pecking order. The West Brom one gives you false hope.

The insurance industry is recognising that on their data, 20mph limits are a huge benefit to both drivers and insurers. Based on 42m vehicles in England at £45 less pa its worth over £2bn pa with much of that a saving for businesses as well as drivers.
Could a speed limit change make motor profitable?
As profits turn negative, it raises the question: what could a lower speed limit mean for safety (and carrier profits)?

Ireland, Slovenia, Iceland, Spain, Netherlands, Belgium and Portugal are now all considering boycotting Eurovision unless Israel are removed.

Like if they should.

The Embankment cycleway (CS3) in London was purposefully built to be wider than was usual in order to future proof it.

Some said it would hardly be used.

Now there’s a decent case for widening it further.

Induced demand is real.

I gave evidence at court on behalf of people suing Edinburgh Council, who’d been injured when their cycles slipped on tram tracks. Opposing lawyer’s 1st question - ‘are you a cyclist?’. I asked what he meant. The judge said I was an obstructive witness - but we won the case!
