I can't believe that Marcus Hayes is allowed to vote for the Hall of Fame. I can't believe that he still has a job in media after the Embiid incident. I can believe that he voted for a domestic abuser.

The MLBPA just lot a lot of their leverage for next years CBA discussions. I still don't think that a salary cap is the answer to this. A salary floor and a ban on deferred payments would fix everything.
Oh, and maybe someone should throw at Kyle Tucker for being the guy to limit future earnings.

The Phillies simplest and best plan for the offseason was to re-sign Bader, Suarez, and Realmuto and then offer the franchise to Kyle Tucker. Instead they are letting all of those guys play elsewhere while we sign a washed Adolis Garcia, a middle infielder with knee issues, and no rotation help.
