Got a bit of a gripe about how tech people misuse scientific research.

Last week I saw a LinkedIn post claiming that we should do Trunk-Based Development, as the DORA reports say it's "associated with the highest-performing teams".

Regardless of your opinions on DORA, though, there's one problem:

Früher laberte der Dorfdepp schieße und 3-4 andere Deppen im Dorf fanden es cool, 2 Dörfer weiter hat die aber schon keiner mehr gekannt, heut kann dank Internet jeder Dorfdepp mit jedem andern Dorfdepp und mit den Stadtdeppen kommunizieren und so ist plötzlich eine riesen Deppen Bewegung entsenden

Es geht nicht darum, Autos aus den Städten zu verbannen. Aber man kann die Dominanz des Autoverkehrs brechen, so wie es ja die Niederlande oder Dänemark seit Jahrzehnten tun. Mit einfachen baulichen Maßnahmen können aus Straßen- wieder Lebensräume werden. Man muss es nur wollen.
Vorher-nachher-Foto einer Straßeneinmündung: Die Straßeneinmündung war vorher weit mit viel Fläche für den Autoverkehr und wenig Bürgersteigfläche. Nach dem Umbau ist das Verhältnis umgekehrt und die Einmündung durch die Verschmälerung zudem verkehrsberuhigt.
