Hard to buy the story about taking over Venezuela so big oil can go in. It will take nearly a decade and billions of $ to renovate Venezuelan oil fields, and there’s a glut of black stuff which is expected to continue for years. I doubt there’s a q of oil execs frothing to invest there right now …

Looks like Rump has discarded Maria Machado and the Democratic Venezuelan opposition in favor of alllowing power to remain with the rest of Maduro’s regime, who in turn seem willing to forget Maduro himself in order to save their own skin. Let’s see how long that unsavory little deal holds up.

Looks like Rump has discarded Maria Machado and the Democratic Venezuelan opposition in favor of alllowing power to remain with the rest of Maduro’s regime, who in turn seem willing to forget Maduro himself in order to save their own skin. Let’s see how long that unsavory little deal holds up.
Looking hard, but I don’t see any Russian forces marshalling to aid their strategic treaty ally in Venezuela. If there’s any other countries out there who think Gollum’s Russia is a good security partner … think again.

Trump will be leaving soon whether he plans to or not, his arteries have already made that decision for him. The issue is that our institutional guardrails have completely and permanently failed. We need a total rebuild or we’ll just get more trumps

Resistance to the US raid was apparently led by Maduro’s Cuban security contingent. The Venezuelan military and Maduro’s VP, now President-elect, are blustering but so far seem compliant with US wishes. It will be interesting to see what happens to the 20.000 or so Cuban “advisers” in Venezuela.

As I understand from this e-mail, Rump flew on the Lolita Express once with Epstein + a 20y/o woman, and on another occasion with 2 women who were possible witnesses against Maxwell. Certain all these ladies were interviewed by law enforcement. So where are their witness statements?

Strikes on Jihadi nutjobs are fine by me, but the narrative should be accurate. Nigeria is 45% Christian & 55% Muslim and both religions are targeted by extremists. It is unhelpful and wrong to say only Christians are being killed and this is just red meat to please religious MAGA voters.
