I *think* it might be an animal. The gravestone is an Eric Gill so, alas, he was probably highly inappropriate with the same animal… 🤢🤮

My new album as Mineral Stunting, 'Come Rain Come Shine' is out in full today on CD and Digital.

Gulch Ambient

I am really proud of this work and I hope you enjoy it too

Cover artwork for Mineral Stunting - Come Rain Come Shine

The cover features a small square with a video still of a first person perspective of someone riding a jetski. you can see the person's hands and in the corner is the symbol indicating this is from an Instagram reel. The word "Sacrifice" is superimposed over the Jetski.

This small square is on a much larger square of dark green that is otherwise completely blank besides the artist name "Mineral Stunting" in the top left corner and the album name "Come Rain Come Shine" in the top right corner

yo ~ today you can grab phexioenesystems.bandcamp.com/album/white-... for half price on this Day of Band w/ the code "blackpolyestersquare"; probably the best album which sounds like the sound of nothing that you haven't heard of, except for these lovely people, who have, & say good things

This is cool. A new bluegreen/cyan color beyond the gamut of the normal human eye! It's just awkward to make it happen, but this optical illusion worked for me :)

Can optical illusions take you outside the human color gamut?

WeTransfer just changed their TOS giving themselves permission to train AI on any content you transfer and produce derivative works based on content you transfer that they are allowed to monetize and you are not allowed payment for.

Stop using WeTransfer.

i've got a corsair t3 in the studio/office, which is a gaming chair, but a very subdued one in dark grey with minimal 'gamerness'

not sure what is bank-breaking for you, but would recommend

was on a meeting recently where I asked how a new AI tool reconciled with the Trust's green policy and got "that's an interesting question from someone with all that music equipment in the background..."; lmao i don't need to vaporise water into this fucking room 24/7. unbelievable non-comparison.

i've picked up on this too; particularly british voices - went down a rabbit hole a few months ago...

idk what to call it but there's this weird trend i've noticed of british youtube voiceovers where the enunciation and phrasing seems really odd and unnatural; it's not an accent thing, it's a "why are you talking like that?" thing. like they've learned to speak from AI...

Seeing lots of scam discount adverts on social media today for Bax & Thomann, etc. purporting to offer 80%/90% off; the former using their liquidation as a cover.

Don't get caught out...

i take this one back; this is entirely fair.

real shame as it was v good

In these sunny times I like to mix Coca Cola with Diet Coke to make what I call Okay Coke. It's neither one thing nor the other, it sits in the middle and is just sort of okay.
