Kid's uniforms in ashopping district in the city center. The yellow rectangles are actual honeycombs for sale!! While it's common to see tripes in Europe, they are rarely put in the forefront of the shopping windows by the butcheries. On the right side are sheep stomachs which seemed to be sold everywhere. They are used in a local tripe soup (şkembe çorbası) said to be a **hangover remedy***.

Ankara a few minutes after sunrise from the hotel window. Dawn had very impressive shades of green and orange, but I had forgotten what it was to be waken up by the muezzin, and had gone back to bed. Ancient emojis (Hittite IIRC) at the very i;pressive museum of Anatolian Civilizations Monumental Lion at the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations. Above this lion a bigpicture of Atatürk was hanging.
