Oh believe me, I'm counting the days. Bloom was my favorite character so the cover makes me VERY excited.

I'll get more into the characters specifically as I read more of it but I can already tell this book will break me in half like every other book I've read by them. Can't wait!

I've long since thought that tragedy, especially the tragedy of living in a hard world, is told through the little things. People fighting over a cup of water, food and fuel scarcity, a psychic storm that just rips your mind to pieces. All horrid and so very normal it sets the tone immediately!

And the style choices? The words flow like poetry! Beautiful, dark, and cannibalistic poetry, its wonderful. The character interactions especially involving sex and how different members of the constellation feel about it is wonderful. Next comes the world building, which is a unique brand of fucked

First impressions: For some history, one of the main reasons I've been a diehard fan of Micha and Vaela's writing was the way they depicted plurality. This book has taken it to a level I love more than anything! each voice has their own thoughts and opinions and lives just like we do!

Honestly it's one of the things that hooked me on Indy stuff. It's why I'll buy every god damn book I can afford in support of the weird and unorthodox things we, and only we, seem willing to produce. That cannibalistic selfcest shit ain't gonna write itself

So instead of games I'll never get around to playing it's books to stack on my tbr and...never get around to reading T-T (I will one day I swear, my brain just doesn't let me choose what or when I read)
