Once again thinking about Macaulay Culkin walking into the Parisian café where the wifi password was “Macaulay Culkin” and the owner saying “I knew you’d come here someday”

Even even though the former childhood star is usually able to get away from his famous past in France, Culkin did share a funny story about a Parisian cafe that was using his name as its Wi-Fi password.

The actor explained that when he walked into the cafe, a woman handed him a
"Home Alone"-era photo of himself on a card.

“A waitress just gave it to me and walked away -- their Wi-Fi code was 'Macaulay Culkin,"' the actor said. "When she came back, I said, 'I like your Wi-Fi code.' She goes, 'Thank you,' and I say, 'C'est moi.' She turned white and brought over the owner of the place, who said, 'I knew you'd come here someday.'"

Similar vibes in very blue Arlington. It started during the Covid lockdowns here. A lot of "liberal" people drifted right with the "open schools now" debate and then they leaned into the right wing propaganda on other things.

The issue in my district was implementation. $130k on pouches just for a handful of schools in a pilot program when they can’t pay teachers more or get supplies, etc. Wasteful. The laptops also blocked a lot of websites and videos needed for AP classes. No nuance whatsoever.

At the risk of being cryptic...

All I can say is... those of us who have had war or genocide refugees in our bloodlines probably already have a "knowing", of how bad things will get-- inside our bodies, our very cellular make up.

Trust that "knowing". Guard it with your life. It will save you.
