Jesus Christ. This entire business should have been over 3 weeks after the release of Wakefield’s initial paper; when epidemiologists published a response that said “if any of that were true, we would’ve seen an autism spike after the introduction of the MMR vaccine, and there wasn’t any.”

Fun fact: As Republicans prepare to cut the entire budget of Medicaid, millions will lose health care, but also 5.6 million live in custodial care or have assisted living paid by Medicaid. 5.6 million with no $ & no one to care for them. That's not cost cutting, that's genocide.

Today, I found out that the Department of Defense banned the Well-Read Black Girl anthology by Glory Edim. I was one of its contributors.

I'm really hurt right now. So if you have it in you, please buy books by Black women from independent bookstores.
