He/him
Do we really want someone who violates the US constitution, abuses women, incites insurrections, has been found guilty of multiple felonies, steals from charities, and a whole range of other despicable things to speak in parliament?

Lindsay Hoyle has the authority to stop it happening...
Stop Donald Trump from Addressing the UK Parliament
Can you spare a minute to help this campaign?

When I buy a thing (music, films, games, books, etc) I want to own a physical copy of it and not just a digital form.
Also, I don’t want a subscription that I have to keep paying without end, I want to buy the product outright.
i don't want to hear your most boomer complaint. what's your most millennial complaint?

This may not be the America for many, but if you aren’t a white, cishet male, dissent does come with the risk of physical violence.
Also see anyone trying to establish/join a trade union.
Violence against dissenters has always been the US.
"A democracy cannot function properly under threats of violence, where any dissent comes with the risk of physical retaliation. That describes Russia, and not America as we have known it." But with another Trump presidency looming, it seems as though we are slipping closer to authoritarianism.

I wonder if Trump is good friends with Jerry Falwell Jr?

Not sure what made me consider this question though 🤔🤷‍♂️

People have been killed because of the disinformation on Twitter.
However Elon immediately suspended the account of the person in Germany who mowed down people at the Xmas market to try and cover up twitters involvement
Recently took a peek at Twitter and the disinformation is getting substantially more dangerous. Someone could get killed.

The tactics of constantly repeating outright lies, targeting specific people, repurposing years-old footage and presenting them as new is getting to another level. It’s scary.

These seem like easy questions to answer, even for non-US citizens:

1 - as part of the “red scare”
2 - as an example of what not to do, & an inspiration to ward off internal conflict due to govt enforced partisanship
3 - for those who are religious, it is often a way to get exemptions from the law
Oklahoma’s Ryan Walters just released the new social studies standards.

Grade school students will now be expected to explain:

- Why “under God” is in the Pledge
- How Christianity influenced the Founders
- The “importance of religion to American people”

If this was said in regards to any other medical area of expertise, it would be faced with almost universal condemnation and likely wouldn’t have been published.
For example:

“Time wasted on cancer treatment has meant more pregnant women dying under the NHS”

Moore is just spouting bigotry
Everyone can see this is insane and that Suzanne Moore is a fucking joke right?

Disgusting behaviour from employee AND from cracker barrel. They only took action based on social outrage. Surely they should have taken action even if their profits weren’t put at risk.

Long before the General Election was called I was raising concerns about the Labour Party being g too similar to the Conservative Party.
I was told that it wouldn’t be that bad because there was enough sensible people at the top who would ensure “the crazies and ideologically motivated” would be…

The "pasteurised milk is dangerous, so drink raw milk" is a good one.

(Please do not drink raw milk!)

They're now saying to.. boil the raw milk before drinking it to make it taste nicer.

They don't know what pasteurisation means 🤦‍♂️

One of my earliest political memories is watching the fall of the Berlin Wall on the 6 o’clock news. People wielding sledge hammers, picks, even their own hands to bring it down.
I’m sure there were similar images on US TV.
But now it seems Americans see nothing if it’s not allowed by a select few
The state of media for Americans is so completely broken
I want to watch TV coverage of the live fall of the Syrian regime.

CNN is airing a Giuliani documentary, Fox News has a comedian joking about Canada, MSNBC a documentary about migrants

So I turned on BBC,which is breathlessly switching between Syria, South Korea demonstrations, and Ghana election

I can’t fathom how people come to these conclusions. Do they also think that the machines that make pacemakers manufacture pacemakers without being turned on?
Does a coffee machine make a cup of coffee without being turned on?
If it’s just medical tech that works this way, why? How? So confusing

Elon Musk has achieved a feat not many others have accomplished, he has been awarded the Rusty Razor award. I don’t think he’s particularly happy with this one…

Renewable energy could flip the balance of power in the current war between AC and DC
For centuries, AC has dominated the war over current technology, but our shift to renewable sources and batteries makes a switch to DC much more sensible
