In an old ad for board game Scattergories in Spain a player was shown flouncing out while anothet said “OK, we’ll accept ‘octopus’ as a pet”.
“Aceptamos pulpo” has now entered the language in the meaning of “that’s a bit of a stretch but let’s go with it just for the sake of argument”.

While this may well help folks learning the letters, it’s really important to remember them as sounds and not as mental images. I advise sounding them to yourself repeatedly to memorise them. Hope this helps. 73 de M0VRI

I was lucky enough to volunteer at the joint Deal and Dover Repair Café yesterday. What a stunning venue! It was a little poorly lit for detailed work but I managed to repair a set of fairy lights and to remove a melted dinosaur from a toaster! This was in the newly restored Maison Dieu in Dover.

I’ve successfully used ChatGPT to write Python modules for things like decoding J-1939 data from CANbus frames. The secret, of course, is in the prompt wording (and re-wording). Oh, and *very* comprehensive unit tests.
