defence manufacturing means making bombs and guns. do we want Canada to "become a global leader" in making bombs and guns? who are we going to murder with these bombs and guns?
Canada can become a global leader in defence manufacturing, and we’re taking action to help companies scale up.

That means thousands of new career opportunities making the defence equipment that keeps Canadians and our allies safe.

Netflix just gave Gavin Newsom 2 million for the redistricting fight and made a deal with Sesame Street. New episodes will air there and the backlog of old episodes will Be free to watch.

Netflix picked a side. I will keep my subscription.

walked into #MSP airport and a man in his 60s- expensive looking jeans, polo shirt wearing- said "nice tits". I've been sexually harassed since I hit puberty. it's really something it'd be great to leave in the dustbin of history.

It’s increasingly clear that Mark Carney misled Canadians about how he was going to approach the United States and wants to govern as a CEO instead of as a prime minister accountable to parliament in a democratic country.

the G7 taught me everyone is afraid to say Kananaskis even though it is literally phonetic: Ka-na-nas-kis.
I guess anglophones have been so gaslit by the nonsense of English ("though" sounds different than "thou" bc of a GH) they think there must be a trap. heaven forbid it's what it looks like.

It's a slur for Inuit people in northern Canada, Alaska and Greenland, largely considered offensive in northern parts of the world.

The word has been used a few times recently in popular music, but it isn't sitting well with an Inuk who says words matter.
