Wrote and published my first article in five years. Medium reckons it’s a seven minute read, took me about two months to complete but, as my Uncle Harry used to say, ‘It’s a two minute walk if you run.’

For context, Marc’s book took him six years.

It’s a northern thing from Oldham specifically, but you’ll also find it in Rochdale (where this photo is from). It just minced beef, onions and gravy, with suet pastry. It’s cooked in a cloth, which gives it a distinctive look and texture. You haven’t lived until you’ve had Rag, Chips & Peas 👌

Lost none of its appeal since first seeing it as a kid. Sinister Hammer classic, transporting the original idea of the zombie from the Caribbean to Cornwall. No flesh-eating corpses here.

I’m not really into RC cars, but appreciate them. Only familiar with Tamiya through their regular kits, and my brother used to build their RC stuff years ago.
