Dear BBCNews, Sky etc it would be interesting to ask Sir Mel if he has costed the impact of ‘treaty withdrawal’ on the UK economy in all his plans. Presumably the impact on our current weak position with EU trade will worsen considerably. This should be the first question and an essential challenge

Agree - there are many soft Reform supporters in this part of the world (Kent) who will be surprised at Council Tax rises and vulnerable to Tory persuasion if they get their act together - urban and East Kent unlike mid and West is unlikely to go Lib Dem…

Interesting and important piece. OER is genuinely transformative and dare I say more important that the mad sector preoccupation with AI systems ( that basically steal content for learning and then seek to monetise their products from universities and students).

The strongest argument against leaving ECHR is that it is supported by the same people and party who argued for leaving the EU - exactly the same people. That should be fatal to the policy…

I’m not surprised she is so transparently hopeless but I’m still puzzled that Gove and Policy Exchange were strong advocates- what did they see. Yes PE is cranky but they are not like the UG student contrarians from IEA who promoted Truss. What did they think would happen…
