I’m not panicking. Every lawless decision should harden the resolve of those committed to democracy to expand the court and restore the civil war amendments.

And in doing so shows its typical unbridled contempt for federal judges who try to apply rules other than “Trump wins”: Notably, in assessing “irreparable harm” that Texas would face, the court also s...

Democrats can retaliate against these GOP gerrymanders with new maps in Illinois, Maryland, Oregon, & Virginia.

They could flip 7 GOP seats to make up for this & new GOP maps in Missouri, North Carolina, Ohio, & possibly soon Indiana.

Imposing costs is the only way to deter the GOP from doing this

Cuellar was charged, by the Biden DOJ, with taking cash to push Azerbaijani and payday-loan interests and then laundering that cash through shell companies. If Jeffries can’t at least furrow his brow in concern over this he shouldn’t be anywhere near the levers of leadership.
Jeffries claims the charges against Cueller were "very thin" and says Trump's pardon was "exactly the right outcome"

The metal letters the administration used to plaster Trump's name on the side of the USIP building today appear very similar to the ones DOGE pulled off the wall when they illegally took over the space in March.

If a man personally implicated in war crimes can remain atop the Pentagon, why would he stand by and risk his freedom should Vance (or Trump again) lose the 2028 election?

And unless Bradley sees the inside of a brig, the message to USSOCOM's chain of command is that no action is impermissible.

The South American boat strikes are plainly murders. Now we have the names of the murderers. Do we have the political will to lock them up?

For some reason Democratic leaders seem to prefer telling voters what they won’t be able to do, rather than what they’d like to do.

If Hegseth ordered a war crime and lied about it, shouldn’t Ds try for impeachment? Put Rs on the spot. They might get a few defections.

The New Deal wasn’t built on a promise that there would be “no ceiling” for the richest Americans.

Quite the opposite, in fact. FDR knew its politics could only work if he singled out the rich as villains and knew that its policies could only work if the rich paid their fair share in taxes.
