To put things into context for you, the closest group of internet laws that provide the powers the Online Safety Act provides Ofcom are the laws that create and empower Russia's Roskomnadzor. You are not going to like living in a country where the equivalent of Rozkom controls the internet.

Finally got the opportunity to read Chavs by @owenjones.bsky.social I was blown away by how accurate and poignant his analysis was and how relevant in remains to this day. Wish this could be made mandatory reading, particularly for every member of government!
