i had a nightmare last night where some people who used to be apart of my life were attacking me with dogs, but i couldn't do anything to hurt them because they had me blocked and i had them blocked. i wonder if that means anything.

i hate my ocd. i know it's my brain trying to protect me or something, but still.

talking to extremely online people about pocd is weird, because on one hand, theyre like "you need help!!" but when they find out that said help (exposure response therapy) is to like, go sit in a park and just watch your thoughts go by, they're like "STAY AWAY FROM THE KIDS!! DISGUSTING MONSTER!!"

Also smth I don't see discussed often, pedophilic intrusive thoughts. Usually when it is brought up it's related to pOCD which is also valid, but my personal experience just comes from the trauma of being groomed and it feels really fucking gross. Esp bc ppl demonize intrusive thoughts.

Obsessive Compulsive Disorder is a harrowing and debilitating condition to live with. Especially when you have to deal with something as instantly unpersoning as "my brain makes me terrified that I'm a pedophile"

Thought crimes are not real. Only people who are attracted to, and actually sexually harm, children are pedophiles
