It was very fun to work on this even if it got super frustrating at points. Somehow I was not able to get a good flow going with the regular "inking" I did in previous pieces, but it worked with the pencil brush. Go figure. Thank you!!

That said; if you have the means to support small artists please do so or we wont be able to keep making art. Avoid giving moneys to massive corporations. Piracy isnt a problem, exploitation and living in a society where you have to earn continued life however is. If you can help others you should.

I'd also like to add: when many forms of art as entertainment (books, games, etc.) are released internationally, they are frequently priced according to what's affordable in Japan or the US/EU/AU, which means they're relatively expensive in some markets even if they do get an official release there
Idk as an artist when I hopefully release a book and I release games Im not gonna get frustrated at people who pirate because they aren't the issue, the fact any of us have to work to eat and stay sheltered is.

Good article, it doesn't fully explain the impact though. While patterns are quite cheap, yarn and people's time are not. Especially starting out, folks are often frightened that they can't do it, so a false pattern could stop someone in their tracks
