So most of the time I learn the boss and I beat it in around 10-15 tries and I'm like "damn it's over so soon :c"

The runbacks and gauntlets have me pulling my hair out tho, they're learnable but they rly feel superfluous sometimes

The thing is the bosses are so well designed that the learning comes naturally at least for me. I didn't get stuck on a single boss for more than 2 hours. I think I struggled the most on the first Beastfly because I was learning the combat system

I rly caught myself whining about how all bosses were too easy until I found a very specific optional one I have since reset and beat 4 times with different crests just bc I was craving the dopamine so maybe my opinion about the game is biased tho

It really feels that way, honestly even the fabled "Bilewater runback" felt acceptable to me as time went on because I actually focused on learning the enemies and the platforming. It's kind of a wholesome Stockholm Syndrome. If that's even possible
