I've been sitting on this for a while, but I've done a bit of research on the Fredericton Exhibition, and how it came to sit on such a big piece of land in the middle of the city.

The story, as with any in Fredericton, starts with the Loyalists, and isn't exactly as everyone believes.

I give credit to the department for a speedy release of these documents — three months from request to disclosure, much faster than previous cases in that department. I dispute the rationale for some redactions, however.

Wrote about the week. How the shooter's ID didn't appear to matter to ppl. How the discourse takes place in very same spaces that incubate/perpetuate hate & violence.
