A great day for our democracy. Keep the movement growing until our politicians get the message!
No Kings Day was one of the largest days of protest in US history. From deep red small towns to our largest cities, millions of people turned out to make it clear that the American people will not bow to fascism. #NoKings

Trump: We are the federal law. You better do it because you’re not going to get any federal funds.

Oh my! Turns out the Deep State is Congress. Guess they aren’t saying anything because the waste, fraud and abuse is by them.
Buckle up for a roller coaster ride through the USAID budget process. To keep you reading, I will use memes.

Step 1.

Every year, the White House (via OMB) puts together a federal budget proposal to Congress. Every federal agency (incl USAID) sends OMB their budget wishlist.

More of these are needed.
The Treasury Department right now. People are turning out against Musk and DOGE staging a takeover of the Treasury’s payment system. This crowd is big. The whole block is packed. “Lock him up,” everyone yells.

I am in. Going to SenatorJohn Cornyn’s Dallas office tomorrow in one of several @indivisible.org actions. The only thing that will stop this insanity is public pressure thru group advocacy and protest.
@indivisible.org is absolutely crushing it on activism right now — federal and state. Join them wherever you live to get engaged in advocacy for democracy.

FBI Director nominee Kash Patel promised no retribution. The next day, we have this grotesque purge at the FBI.

Bondi said she would examine pardons on a case by case basis.

Then Trump gave 1550 pardons overnight.

Their confirmation commitments mean nothing.

Am I the only one noting that after demonizing China for years, Trump seems to be letting them off lightly, while going full tilt against Canada? Is it Musk's business interests? Have Chinese players been buying Trumpcoin?

Trump said drug dealers should get “the death penalty” but I guess a full and unconditional pardon is basically the same thing.
Trump granted a full and unconditional pardon to Ross Ulbricht, creator of the notorious Silk Road drug marketplace.

Ulbricht has used the dark web to facilitate more than 1.5 million drug deals — including sales of heroin, cocaine and other illicit substances.

The FBI once called Ulbricht’s…
