There was a little misunderstanding... so they only ended the fancy cable package MTVs that actually played music, but kept the reality trash channel!?😭🤦♂️
So MTV is officially dead, but even an 80s music superfan like me says "good riddance." Not only has the channel become ground zero for trashy reality TV, but new music stinks now anyway. For the true MTV experience, check out the "80s XITE" or Vevo streaming channels.

Two things can be true:
1) Political violence is horrific and wrong. Charlie Kirk's murder was horrific and whoever killed him should be caught and prosecuted to the full extent of the law.
2) Charlie Kirk was a garbage human being and his life's work made the world a substantially shittier place.

Yup. This is every "dream job": 10% doing the thing, 90% doing everything else required to get to do that 10%.
I've got a photographer friend, and so many folks think it must be lovely to just show up, take a few pictures and get paid, without considering the thousands of hours that go into self promotion, handling finances, networking, and all the many things that aren't taking pictures.

So it looks like the TikTok ban actually happened, but I’m nowhere near as disappointed as most people here. I never had the desire to use the platform, with the super vertical video format being the main turn-off for me.
