This might be news to you but 2 people in the same position might act differently. Either Harris or the Biden admin chose for her time as VP to be meaningless. That wasn't the case for Cheney, who is known, objectively, to have been behind much of the death America caused in the Middle East.

If you can retroactively call the monarchy back then fascist (a term that did not yet exist) then by that logic, you should be able to apply the same label to slave owners. So it was two groups of fascists fighting each other
