FACT: Immigrants commit crimes at a far lower rate than Trump, his family, & friends.

At Alligator Alcatraz, mixed in among those accused or convicted of crimes are 100s immigrants w/o convictions/charges.

Many folks don't follow news. Pls share off Bsky too!

@gruber.foo hey! I had a TI-99/4A and it was NOT cheap. Parents bought it for me one Xmas (because it was sold at Sears and the salesman fed them a line of crap) and by the time they realized we needed the expansion chassis and disk drive & 80 column card & serial/parallel card etc … same price.

The most obvious lesson to draw from the leaked Signal chat is that these people really are morons. It's not a public act, it's not a schtick, there's not some secret back room where they drop the facade. They are genuinely stupid, incompetent people.

I do have a signal account, and it is being used for such purposes. I also have a phone with a Canadian number on my desk. Happy to relay anything deemed necessary for life saving purposes.

Elon Musk claims to have found rampant fraud in the Social Security Administration. There's a much simpler explanation.

This is a flat-out, clear-cut violation of the First Amendment.

Jan 6 must be fully & conclusively adjudicated in a court of law if this country is to ever move forward.

They can't just wish it away unless we let them.
Though the Justice Dept has deleted information about its Jan 6 prosecutions from its website, a federal judge has issued an order listing and chronicling all of the cases and prison terms

I think Americans, blessed with relatively stable government for a long time, assume there is someone, some adult, who will step in and make things right before the President does anything REALLY bad.

There’s not.

Trump opened the ‘valve’ on California water. It will probably be wasted.

The most surreal and maddening feature of the campaign was that everyone agreed that high prices were the main issue but the guy explicitly, consistently running on a platform of raising everyone’s prices won voters most concerned about high prices.

We hammered this time and time again and yet.

The Musk minions who are stealing all our government data and placing sensitive information about all of us in unknown hands are worried that someone might target *them*
4/ who they are, whether they’re even American citizens. They all seem to be Thiel and Musk protégés. And I’ve had multiple references to their refusing to identify themselves by anything but first name. The rationale given is that they could be doxed.
