I was interested to see Barack Obama’s list of favorite books he’s read this year. Does anyone know the Donald Trump will post his list of favorite books?

Amid horrendously long lines at food banks around the country, the president is willing to let Americans go hungry.
Trump sure seems eager to starve the poor
The president can't quite suppress his sinister goal of withholding benefits from hungry Americans, even as the White House insists otherwise.

Congress is not doing its work and is getting paid and has health insurance while the military who is keeping us safe is not getting paid. Meanwhile, Trump is giving Argentina a $20 billion bailout. What’s wrong with this picture? Hey, Mike, get to work!

@timmiller.bsky.social I’m a big fan and a regular listener to The Bulwark. While listening to the show with Tom Nichols this morning, you mentioned ICEBlock. I installed it on my phone 4 months ago, and it’s still there and working as far as I know. Living in Raleigh, there hasn’t been any activity

Sen Budd (R-NC) brags that, during the congressional recess, he visited all 100 counties meeting with business leaders and county and city officials. Significantly, he did not publish his schedule or hold any town halls. He is so unpopular that he knows he would be run off the stage if he did.

Trump thinks he can project a stronger, more aggressive posture for the US simply be changing the name of the Defense Department, yet he continues to coddle Putin, giving him three redlines and backing down, bowing to his wishes in Alaska, and treating him like a respected world leader.

Herr Trump likes to presents himself as strong and powerful, but in reality, he is weak and feckless. He set three redlines for Putin to negotiate on Ukraine. They have all come and gone. No follow up in his threats. Tmp is, at best, a paper tiger. Very bad for the U.S.

In an Oval Office meeting with President Lee Jae Myung of South Korea on Monday, President Trump repeatedly mentioned having a good rapport with the North Korean dictator Kim Jong-un. At one point Trump offered to arrange a meeting between Kim and Lee.

Welcome to the Totalitarian State of Texas.
Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton suggested Thursday that the state legislature could “lock the doors” on liberal-minded party members, trapping them into participating in a forced restructuring of Texas’s congressional maps.

Trump is weak. I think we can all agree on that. He’s the type of guy who shouts at the top of his lungs while carrying a twig. Is there any question that he is being manipulated by, in this case, Netanyahu?

Trump left the G7 meeting in Alberta today. I guess he realized what an outcast and pariah he is. How humiliating for all of us in the USA.

On Ukraine, Putin has the upper hand in negotiating with Tmp who always talks loudly, screaming really, while he carries a short twig. He looks impotent for Putin and the whole world to see. Putin has begun to mock Trump making him look ever weaker.

And that “one guy” is Don Trump? Just guessing.
I just really need everybody to understand that everything that’s happening in and to the global economy now (and all the businesses and people in it) is the entirely predictable result of the intentional decisions of one guy who doesn’t understand how the global economy works.
