If you think about it, aside from electoral reasons, it is truly bizarre to make claims of benefits to joining a multilateral trade agreement on the other side of the globe, yet refuse to accept the case for joining one next door.

I don’t agree with this. For one thing it’s tone and conduct policing overreach. For another it’s like trying to herd cats and won’t work. Not everyone wants precisely what you do out of this network.

I don’t agree with this. For one thing it’s tone and conduct policing overreach. For another it’s like trying to herd cats and won’t work. Not everyone wants precisely what you do out of this network.
